Swedish Hospital Medical Center, Seattle, WA* Architect:  NBBJ Architects with previous employer  Magnusson Klemencic Assocates A 670,000 sq. ft. addition consists of a 13-story tower above grade with six levels of parking below grade.  The building includes eleven elevators; five of which are used for passengers while the remaining six are used for service.  The hospital addition includes ambulatory care, lobby, waiting area, gift shop and small cafeteria.  Extensive coordination was necessary to incorporate mechanical, electrical and other trades through the structural steel beams in a shallow floor structural envelope.                    Additional Projects
