Eric Dube is Vice President and co-founder of Casco Bay Engineering. He has over 15 years experience in both Civil and Structural Engineering Design. He is highly respected in the construction industry, and volunteers much of his time to multiple organizations / municipalities including Architalx, where he serves on the Board of Directors, and the Town of Pownal, Maine, where he holds a seat on the Planning Board. Eric received his Bachelors of Science in Architectural Engineering in 1992 from the Wentworth Institute of Technology, in Boston, Massachusetts. Eric’s open communication style is paramount to the success of not only each project but also to the company as a whole. His unusual ability to perform both Civil and Structural Engineering Design proves to be an invaluable resource for Casco Bay Engineering and clients. This professional aptitude enables him to manage a project from its conception through site design and into the structural contract drawing phase and construction administration. Eric’s project experience includes a range of commercial projects such as retail complexes, educational, industrial and medical facilities, in addition to residential designs and renovations. He thrives on multiple challenges associated with complex retrofits and innovative engineering ideas. Of notable projects, Eric lead the Engineering Team and Construction Administration for the ‘Committee to Restore the Abyssian’. Originally built in 1826, the Abyssian is the third oldest standing meeting house from the Underground Railroad.
